It’s not an exact science, buddy. How’s your markets looking today? BARELY over the 10K mark… AGAIN. If it makes you sleep better at night to think Celente is a nut, go for it. It sure as doesn’t make it so and it sure as doesn’t erase 30 years of accurate trend forecasting.

    What happened to …
What happened to the meltdown of ’09? I do believe Celente claiming, with great diligence and tenacity, that we should expect one of the biggest financial meltdowns in history during the ’09 year.

Here we are, at the close of the year. The stock market is beginning to knock on the door of 11,000 again, economic statistics are trending upward and, even in my own industry of IT in which I work, our sales pipeline is stocked full and we are in the hunt for a very profitable 2010.

  3. KidCr3nshaw says:

    Starl, you’re a …
Starl, you’re a tool. For 30 years, Celente has been accurate. He hasn’t been “gloom and doom” until the last 2. That’s because current events dictate future trends.

He’s pinpoint accurate – it’s only now he says doom because that’s what he sees. If you think he’s always been that way I encourage you to read his journals of 30 years. He’s never said anything like this.

  4. StarI3lade says:

    Gerald Celente is a …
Gerald Celente is a fear-mongering businessman. He repeatedly paints a more and more bleak picture because his own financial success is inversely related to positive perception of our world.

If you listen closely to what he says, the evidence against his claims becomes clear. Take for example his claim that we are entering a “zeitgeist”. He references the time passed between technological advance during the Golden Age but fails to note technological advance is exponential is nature.

    Has he tackled the …
Has he tackled the giant Monsanto yet. GMO’s are in your food and you are not able to choose because of the lack of labels. USDA and USA leader weaknesses is to blame because if given the choice most people would choose against GMO food. Get it? truefoodnow. hawaiiseed. How many GMO foods are out there since the early 90′s? .org

    I respect Celente, …
I respect Celente, but this time he’s holding back. He’s not telling you why it’s changing.

A zeitgeist is a particular mood in history. Weak explanation. Come on Celente tell us the truth, it’s the secret societies that are controlling this particular zeitgeist.

It’s astrology, elongation of Venus January 14th 2009 and the 36th day that follows at it’s brightest, and then 72nd day and all that crazy stuff. Secret societies love astro-theology. We all know that.:) We living in a movie.:)
