How does the global trend toward travel cause change and change within cultures?

This is for my 500word coursework and im stuck please help

Think about Alexander the Great. He was Macidonian but his father sent him to Greece to study. Afterwards when he became a great warrior and traveled lands he spread the Greek culture. Therefore the many great philosphers of the Helenistic time were not ethnically Greek but they were influenced by the Greek culture.
