how do I know if someone was googling my name?

Is it possible? "google trends" is giving only large volume data, but I am looking for a way in which I can tell about just a few searches.

I’m looking in your name right now!

Not possible from the outside. Only if you worked for google and had direct access to their hardware and data.

well you might have the same name as someone else that’s famous or something. but there’s no way to tell that they’re looking up you in google, or any other search engine.

No there is no way to find out that information, unless you hack into the Google mainframe and find it, even then, all you would get is a heap of IP addresses. Useless unless you have access to all internet service providers databases, then you could work out who has been searching your name. But that would be a waste of time as next thing you know you are in court because of privacy issues and security. You essentially have better luck of taking over control of a government spy satellite.
