(living in Hong Kong)… google trends: Tiananmen massacre?

a strange thing i observed…
just out of curiosity i explored google trends…
to my surprise i find Hong Kong ranked first in searching for "Tiananmen Massacre"…

http://www.google.com/trends?q=tiananmen+massacre

i find it hard to understand…
what would arouse so much curiosity among Hong Kongers?…
can someone help explain?…
Don, you did not help solve the puzzle…
i know Hong Kongers are sympathetic to pro democracy demonstrators…
but they already know the most facts…
better than anyone else…
coz they happen to be in close proximity of China…
why would they keep searching for the same stuff…
over and over again…

Hong Kongers provided a great deal of moral support to the student protesters. Even after the demonstration was crushed, many of these students fled to Hong Kong to find safety from the brutal and oppressive Communist despots. No wonder Hong Kongers are curious about the way the events are still perceived by the people around the world.

Hmmm good question, a perfect shot to have a young man standing in front of a row of tanks.

This shot was too stunning that perhaps the people keep looking at it, for inspiration or something. Hong Kong people are indeed lucky enough to be able to read anything they want from around the world. People cant even open Yahoo.com.hk or Yahoo Taiwan from the Mainland.
